19th Annual Asian Cultural Experience (July 28-29)

Details:  In 2012 event will focus on the culture and heritage of Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.  The highlight of the two-day festival is the Performance Celebration, featuring the music and dance of the 15 countries, at 6:00PM on Saturday, July 28th, in the Exhibition Hall B stage.  During the two days, there will be fashion shows, exhibits of rare cultural artifacts, and a variety of demonstrations, including calligraphy, woodwork, pottery, fruits and vegetables carving; and origami, the Japanese art of paper-folding.  There also will be demonstrations of Thai massage, Thai Boxing, as well as games such as Igo (Japan), Sungka (Philippines) and Mah Jongg (China). Martial arts, including Tae Kwando, Judo and Karate, will also be demonstrated.  Self-Defense will be taught all 2 days, Korean Wedding Ceremony will be demonstrated; pictures taking as your souvenir are available by professional photographer.

Children 5 & Under- FREE
